one thing about living in orange county is the amazing shopping (ok, among many other things). one great place (but oh. so. expensive.) is fashion island. they have these amazing water fountains that the kids loved watching and trying to get wet in and a coi fish pond built into the ground. i thought it would be fun to walk around with the girls (and maybe sneak in a little shopping at anthropology-the store i pretend i can buy anything i want in-but can't really). oh, how i love that store. the funny thing about fashion island is, much like south coast plaza, i feel the need to "look cute" when i shop there. it is the ritzy--est place in orange county to shop probably and certainly work-out clothes and hair messily (new adjective) pulled back will NOT do. they probably wouldn't have even said hello in the stores if i were dressed in the workout clothes. so, even without a shower today, i dressed "cute" and "looked the part." i know there is something really wrong with that...but, this is orange county...argh!!!! p.s. i didn't have make-up on though. that makes me feel more sneaky. hee hee (i need counseling i think).
taking a little break to eat some grapes and carrots (aren't i just the healthiest mom).
just relaxing after a tough day of shopping, watching the coi swim around!
apparently practicing the newest moves from the dallas cheerleaders. either that or getting set up to dive in. not sure what they were doing, but i love that whatever addison does, august does too.
my brave little girl leaping over tall buildings...or stepping stones...is it wrong that i wasn't worried about her falling in...this, the girl who tripped over her bike helmet and got 6 stitches a week prior??
