since all of us were sick the week before thanksgiving we decided not to camp up north for several days. instead, we went to san clemente for one night. the weather was beautiful during the day and cold at night. it was nice though because the girls and i could play on the beach while mark surfed. addison had so much fun in the water, which we were not planning on her going in. she ended up half naked running amuck and amusing the surrounding beach-goers. august stayed fairly clear of the water unless one of us was holding her. she enjoyed eating sand.
